And Some Other Non-Sensical Thoughts

For some reason I had never noticed which hand PAS writes with (probably because he's only done it once on screen, that I'm aware of), but when Kristie mentioned the bum pat that PAS gives JL (it could be Danny gives Michelle, but it seemed to be unexpected, so I'll go for an adlib) in tonight's chat, I was inspired to go re-watch, and what do you know, I just realized PAS is a leftie. How cool is that? Lefties of the world unite, ::high five:: to my fellow lefties!

BTW, for some reason, for the first time I kept typing Paul and Joie in the above paragraph instead of their initials (I've since changed it). Strange. Wonder where this sense of sudden familiarity is coming from? Hmmm... :-)

Anyway, back to my non-sensical thoughts, which I should probably save for some review or another, but these things just jumped out at me, and I felt like mentioning them (I actually re-watched the almost love scene, through the Angel of Mine, dance scene).

1) I still absolutely, unequivocally adore the "are you okay?" that Danny/PAS whispers to Michelle/JL in the middle of all the panting. I use both character and actor names, because I truly am not sure whether that was a PAS thing (making sure JL was comfortable) or a Danny thing (making sure Michelle was comfortable), but whomever it was, it's still too sweet for words. No matter how many times I see it, I have to rewind to hear again.

2) Danny's shirt is already unbuttoned, and the tie undone, by the time Michelle goes to kick her heels off. I guess this happened during the commercial break? Personally, I would have liked to have seen this undone on screen. Not that I'm desperate or anything. :P

3) How much did Michelle want him? And how freakin annoying is it that Danny decides at that very moment to become totally bullheaded? She's practically clawing at him, to get him back in the bed, when he pushes her off of him. And no, I don't believe for a second, it's because of some act she's trying to pull off, the girl was just lusting after her husband, and can we blame her?? I firmly believe, if he hadn't thrown a fit, we would have had consummation, months ago!

4) In the morning when they're discussing the family business and he asks Michelle if she perhaps wants to put some clothes on, so she's more comfortable, how cute is Danny, trying to pretend like he's doing it for her benefit? Bwahahahahaha... I don't think he could concentrate with her half nude, much less try and carry out this plan to set her up with information.

5) I love the teeny tiny kisses her gives her in Millennium, when he asks her if they can go get breakfast, because he's starving (um, doesn't Millennium, serve breakfast, but that's neither here nor there) and when he goes to give his grandmother the contraband chocolate. They're just so incredibly sweet. Such affection and warmth. I just want to eat him up with a spoon. Get your minds out of the gutter, ladies!

6) How much better off would be right now if Michelle had told him the truth about the FBI, from the beginning. I know we discussed it when it aired, but that boy would have forgiven her killing off his entire extended family, if she would have just told him the truth. He's constantly looking for any reason to believe Michelle and trust her, and make it work. And in a roundabout way, Michelle does the same, in trying to back out of the FBI deal. She just wants any reason to silence that little voice in the back of her head, that keeps telling her she can't and shouldn't do this. Do I think she was taken aback by Danny's admission of love? Yes. Do I think that's why she really tried to call off her plan? No. It was just the incentive she needed to confirm what she was already waffling about.

Okay, enough out of me, when all I really wanted to say was, I'm glad there's another leftie in the world. :-)
