Every community usually speaks a language that has its origins based in necessity, creativity, or perversion.  If you can't figure out some acronyms or what to properly call a certain "day", check out this page, it's your one-stop Manny lingo shop.

 these are the days

Water Scene  :  At Millennium on the day they first meet, Danny senses that Michelle may know more about Mick's death than she's letting on and comes to her table (where she's studying) and brings her a glass of water.  This is a significant scene because it's the first they shared alone, together and in it you can see the inklings of their future dynamics.

Diner kiss  :  Ah, their first kiss.  I think what will always stick out in my mind about this one was the odd, yet intriguing staging of the kiss.  As Danny comes in from off camera (where Michelle supposedly can't see him), he takes hold of the back of her neck and turns her around before laying the kiss on her.  But perhaps what's even more appealing about this kiss is the follow up kiss.  While never breaking contact, he backs up slightly and goes back in for a softer kiss complete with a bracing right hand holding the other side of her face.

Ink Blots Scene  :  You know, I'd be happy to share with everyone what these scenes were like, but the blasted PTB decided to cut them before we ever got to see them!  We found out later, through a scene with Michelle & Drew and an interview with PAS, that these scenes took place in their Psychology class where Danny suggested that the ink blots looked like the two of them having sex.  PAS mentioned that he thought that was a day that typified his attraction to Michelle - because she was sassy!

Mall Scenes  :  These took place during Christmas of 1998 when Danny was still "stalking" Michelle to find out more information about Mick.  He met her at the mall where she told him to leave her alone.  These are mostly remembered for the sound of PAS' voice at the time.  We later found out that he had been suffering from bronchitis.  But who cares!?!?  This is sexy-Danny-voice we're talking about!

Morning Sexy Kiss/Day  :  Believed to be one of the more popular kisses in their history, this is the day that Danny showed up on Michelle's doorstep, uttered those famous words, "Mornin' Sexy" and proceeded to swagger in, grab her face and kiss her good and hard... right in front of Jesse.  Ahhh, young love!

Dock Scenes  :  Simple reference for the unforgettable scenes as Danny pretends to kill Michelle and ends up fishing her out of the water and has the brilliant idea that threw this storyline into high gear.  These scenes are home of the infamous, "I wonder if you're worth risking my neck for?"

Family Dinner  :  Let's get ready to rummmmmmmmble!!  Carmen does her best to get Michelle away from her son when she invites Michelle's family to join them at the Country Club for a get together.  Michelle is mortified at the though but plays the "wifely" role perfectly.  These scenes are best remembered for the Tummy Rub and the fight between Danny and Jesse in the hallway.

Bridal Suite  :  When talking about early Manny, I don't know if it gets much better than this.  This term more-or-less encompasses all the scenes after they've arrived home from the Country Club Family Dinner all the way through Pre-Cana.  Most remembered for Manny adjusting to living together (and bickering like crazy) - these are can't miss scenes.

"Learn Some More Spanish"  :  I don't think too many people would disagree with me if I called this Manny's best fight.   They've had some doozies, but I would personally have to go with this one, too.  If for nothing else, for PAS' performance in particularly.  What I like to call "rhythmic delivery", he really sells Danny's frustration and anger in dealing with Michelle.

IAAM  :  If you are new to Manny and have never seen this scene, I truly feel for you.  Truly.  This stands for the "I am a man" speech that Danny gave Michelle in her Casa Bauer bedroom.  I caught on to Manny late and only read the transcript of the infamous speech (which you can find :here:)  and honestly thought it was a ridiculously worded speech.  And though it might still be, you need to hear it to appreciate it.  Once you do, you will never forget it.

Mrs. Silva Scenes  :  How many times can we say "classic Manny" and actually mean it?  A lot, apparently.  These are the scenes that take place at Casa Santos after Danny accuses Michelle of trying to get information from one of his clients (Mrs. Silva).  She takes his mind off of these accusations by tempting him with... herself.  They end up on the bed and almost make love, before Michelle pushes him away.

Beeper Kiss  :  This could easily have been moved down to the "moments" section because this goes by so quickly that you almost miss it, and yet in talking to so many Manny fans, I've come to find that this small instance is a favorite.  This kiss happens at Millennium when Danny and Michelle stop by one morning.  Two things stand out for me during this scene - 1)  the preceding line of Danny's ("I gotta go make a phone call, okay, but then could we go get some breakfast? I'm starving.") because it hints at a sense of comfort and normalcy between them and  2)  Michelle's hand grabbing his as he kisses her and her glorious smile as he walks away.  Doesn't take a genius...

Hands on The Neck (HOTN)  :  I wish I could stop saying these are all my favorite scenes, but my goodness, they just never end!  In their Casa Santos bedroom just after Danny finds out that Michelle turned him into the FBI, he wrestles with the reality of the situation - he has to kill his wife, the woman he loves.  PAS is masterful in displaying the utter torture he's going through.

Angel of Mine Dance  :  The episode when Manny go out for a "normal" evening of dancing with Rick and Abby at Millennium.  They share a stolen dance before Michelle confesses to calling the FBI.

D/D  :  All this time I thought it stood for "Danny/Drew's" little indiscretion, but I recently found out that some used it to represent "Dirty/Deed".  Either way, it's still a day that I would like to forget ever happened!

Goodbye  :  One word.  So simple, and yet so powerful.  To this date, this scene gets to me more than perhaps any others on a pure storyline level.  These "goodbye" scenes take place in the Bauer kitchen when Danny sets Michelle free.

"I Do Love You"  :  If your volume is turned down just enough or you blink at the wrong moment during this scene, you will miss this line.  I have no idea how PAS does it.  How does he know to take one line, a simple line at that, and make me feel as though I've just been stabbed in the heart?  This group of scenes, sigh here I go again, is just one of my absolute favorites.  Danny has set Michelle free and they bump into each other at Millennium.   She tries to get him to admit that he loves her and he continually denies it.  After she leaves, a somber Danny exhales "I do love you."  *double sigh*

Park Bench Scenes  :  Some of the most referenced scenes in Manny history for a few reasons.  One being the in-laden irony that the dialogue is drenched in.  We saw Danny say anything he could to scare Michelle out of their marriage, but as every month passed, we saw the inherent truth in everything he said.  Due to the sheer power of these scenes and Paul Anthony Stewart's spectacular performance that day, I've transcribed the scene for your reading pleasure.  Click here.

D/D revelation  :  These scenes took place in the Lighthouse after Michelle took Danny out of the hospital.  Just as they reunite, Carmen comes in and spills the news about Danny's tryst with Drew.  Classic scenes.

Michelle Drunk Scenes  :  Joie Lenz's tour de force performance in these scenes after Michelle finds out that Danny slept with Drew is not to be missed.  After laying into Drew, Michelle finds frat boys and fire water to ease her weary soul.  Danny finds her at Millennium and takes her back to her Bauer bedroom where even more memorable moments occur...

Shower Scenes  :  ...and these scenes are just a few of those moments.  Michelle, still drunk and coming on to Danny to prove to him that she's just "as good as Drew" goes too far and Danny decides to sober her up - quick.  He shoves her into the cold shower and joins her as she breaks down in tears in anger and sorrow.

Nancy Drew Day  :  This generally covers the entire period when Michelle used her brain and decided that she alone could solve the mystery of the stopped clock!  But this day in particular was when Michelle snuck into Casa Santos to steal the clock from the mantle that stopped at 9pm which proved that Carmen set up the shooting at her house.  I enjoyed it when Michelle had a brain, didn't you?

Ketchup Day  :  I know it begins to sound redundant after a while, but I tend to wonder if I could ever come up with a top ten "Favorite Manny Moments" list because I seem to add to it quite often.  This day starts off at Company with perhaps my favorite ad-libbed scene ever (Paul puts ketchup on Joie's nose) and moves on to some incredibly "couple-y" scenes with Rick and Abby and finishes up at the church before Holy Bomb day.

Holy Bomb  :  What most find to have been a silly premise actually turned out some great performances and important dialogue, in my opinion.  These scenes happened right after Ketchup Day when Manny went to the church for Ray's mass.  Dietz and Jimmy planted a bomb under a pew, but it couldn't go off because Abby's new cochlear implant allowed her to hear the ticking and point out the bomb.  Bill, the computer whiz turned rocket scientist and Danny, the macho bomb diffuser decided that everyone should get behind benches (because that would shelter them from the enormous blast, uh huh) and Danny would just pull whatever wire felt right.  After he pulled, he leapt back behind his own flimsy barricade and the bomb never went off.  Whew!

I'm Your Life Day  :  Hands down my favorite Michelle/Joie day.  Manny are (is?) at Casa Santos the day after the Holy Bomb and Danny tries to send her away to San Cristobel.  She refuses by telling him that she belongs with him, by his side.  Joie is radiant in these scenes as she perfectly delivers lines such as "I'd rather die with you than live without you"  and "If there were a thousand guns lined up outside, I'd want to face them with you".  Just beautiful.

Triple Stomp  :  We love sexually frustrated Michelle!  This happens at the Lighthouse right before she's kidnapped by Rick's goons.  Danny is lured away by a phone call just as they were about to make love.  As he leaves, Michelle stomps three times in frustration of what she just missed out on!  Who can blame her?

LFW  :  The acronym for Manny's Laurel Falls Wedding - July 2nd, 1999.  This wedding isn't always brought up as a favorite of Manny fans, but I personally think that it's all very sweet and in all seriousness, how could I not love watching Manny just being in love?  That's nearly impossible!

Little C  :  This affectionate term is a play on the "big consummation" day that many fans expected to happy on July 5th after the LFW.  Unfortunately, many of those fans were disappointed that there were no actual "love" scenes.  I, personally, love these scenes and had no need for the scenes they all expected.  Again, I just love seeing them in love.  So sue me, I'm a simple gal.

Chocolates Day  :  This takes place at Casa Santos on the day that Manny leave for their San Cristobel honeymoon remembered mostly for their playful, twirly entrance into the living room and their comic timing in the final "chocolates" scene.

Sunburn/Aloe Scenes  :  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.  Do I really have to say more?   Ok, I will.  One of the glorious days of their San Cristobel honeymoon, I remember this so vividly mostly because they were only on for the first half hour and I kept waiting for a follow up scene, but I never got it!  Simply put, Manny come in from the beach and Michelle is sunburned.  We get two scenes of Danny just putting Aloe on his wife's shoulders.  Awww!  PAS and JL were just beaming in these scenes and I can't watch them without turning into a big grinning idiot every single time.

"Oh Behave" Day aka In/Out Day  :  If I were hard pressed to name my top five full Manny episodes, this one would definitely make it.  This was the day that Danny returned from San Cristobel to find a luminous and horny wife waiting for him.  It has it all... fun, Austin Powers references, and love sweet love.  You can blame Tracee for being responsible for people naming it "In/Out" day.  Instead of trying to explain it, click here for an explanation.

BCP  :  Birth Control Pill day, when Danny mistakenly thinks Michelle is pregnant and she proceeds to tell him that she's been on the pill.  A favorite day, because we get to see the pure joy that having a child would bring to them both.

Towel Day  :  When Michelle is trying to concoct a plan to convince Danny to go back down to San Cristobel to help Reva, she's just come out of the shower as Danny comes home.  They partake in some playful banter while he tries to take off her towel before she slyly brings up going back to the island.

Pool Day  :  In San Cristobel after Manny have their Bonds Fight, Michelle storms out to the pool, disrobes (!?!?!?) and jumps in the pool.  Danny, unwilling to give up, dives into the pool in his tux and makes the only promise he knows he can keep:  "There is one promise I can make you.  I will always love you."

Firing Squad  :  One of the most laughed about and ridiculed scenes in Manny history involves Manny (in more Gap clothes), Danny without socks, and Michelle looking gorgeous as they... are tied up and stand before a firing squad in San Cristobel during the Reva Rescue Mission.  These are excellent scenes to watch if you find yourself in need of a good laugh.

Casa Santos Party  :  The party Carmen threw for Manny after they came home from their honeymoon.  Michelle had spent a few nights away from Danny because of the constant "goings on" at Casa Santos.  She resists going until Selena talks her into it and she shows up in a stunning black gown with her new haircut!  Manny share some dances and sigh-worthy moments before heading to...

"I Am Home"  :  ...Laurel Falls where Danny tells Michelle that he's bought all the property and tells her:  "I want you to come home to me very soon."  To which she replies, "I am home."  It makes me giddy just thinking of PAS' gutteral laugh and lifting of Joie before one of the best (if not cut off) kisses in Manny history.

DD  :  Not to be confused with the above acronym, I personally used this for the "dirty dancing" scenes (as seen in the banner above) that took place in Millennium, but I'm not sure if anyone else does.

"Rough and Tumble"  :  In the courtroom hallway just before Max's adoption hearing, Danny tries to get Michelle ready to face Ben Warren by jostling her shoulders and biting his lower lip in a highly erotic way (ok, perhaps it was just me).  After all, it was that small move that convinced me that Manny have kinky sex.  Nuff said!

Ice Cream Day  :  Awww, who doesn't just beam when they think of this day?  After coming home from Max's adoption hearing, Danny puts together a last-minute feast consisting of screw-top cooking wine, 3 day old bread and himself to romance his wife.  Perhaps the most memorable moment in these scenes was the blatant penis reference before Michelle got out of bed to go buy ice cream.

NYE  :   In Manny's two years together, we saw them through two New Year's Eves.  The first being the night that Danny found out that Michelle killed Mick and the second being a night that Danny fantasized about meeting Michelle in college.  However, when mentioning "NYE" only one day is meant - January 13, 2000.  Manny spend a belated New Year's Eve together at the lighthouse in which we were lucky enough to see just how adept Michelle had become at undressing her husband.

MOTR  :  This has been referred to in two ways, as Manny On The Run (self-explanatory) and Manny On The Rocks.  No, not a new drink.  This was the day that they snuck off to Laurel Falls before the trial and talked about all the children they'd have before lying down and making wishes on the (non-visible) stars.

Mick Fight  :  Just when we thought there was no huge screaming matches in the near future, Danny finds out that Drew was involved in Mick's death - a small detail that Michelle never mentioned to him.  Furious, he lays into her, accusing her of not trusting him and possibly keeping more from him.

Len Fight  :  This fight takes place at the courthouse during the trial after Michelle finds out that Danny got Len, the ice cream store owner, to lie on the stand in her defense.  Michelle, in her anger tells Danny to "stop loving me!"   Well, that's not an option at this point, obviously.  But in these scenes we see, yet again, overprotective/semi-Neanderthal Danny trying to make decisions for Michelle and Michelle just not having any of it.  She said it all when she told him, "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, ever. And somehow maybe you're the worst."  Heartbreaking words.  And not unlike the park bench dialogue from Danny, they rang incredibly true.

Night Before The Verdict  :  This is pretty self-explanatory, isn't it?  This is a wonderful episode that includes Paul's winged hair and some beautiful dialogue about their past together.  The clincher for most, however, is the final scene... one of the most painfully romantic Manny scenes to date as we see Michelle try to appreciate the colors and textures of her life.  She wants a day to remember.  She wants it to begin and end with him...

Hand on the glass  :  One of those moments that will never leave my mind, this refers to a particular moment when Danny is visiting Michelle in prison and they touch their hands to the glass partition that separates them.

Confessional  :  While Danny's visited the official confessional on a few different occasions, "Confessional Day" refers to Manny in the Love Shack after he broke her out of prison.  As Ray tries to convince Danny to turn themselves in, Danny uses this opportunity to confess everything he's done, all the while knowing that Ray can't turn them in because of his vow of silence.

"Normal" discussion  :  Perhaps some of my favorite Manny moments come when they're simply being a "normal" couple.  It rarely ever happened in their two years together, but the one scene that we always remember has been named as such.   This happens on the yacht when they've just broken Michelle out of prison and they're on their way to San Cristobel.  Michelle has just successfully convinced the Coast Guard to leave and they sit on the couch thisclose and she wonders what it would be like to have "normal married couple problems".  A favorite exchange in this scene is when one of his suggestions includes a "wife who forgets to put gas in the car" to which she replies, "I told you I was sorry about that...".  Pure bliss.  It's the little things.

Knife Day  :  There are actually two days that this can describe.  The first being at Company when some foreign person took over Michelle's body and she held a butter knife (ohhh dangerous!) to Ben's throat before Danny talked her out of her trance.  Or... on the run in San Cristobel, Danny brilliantly decides to take Richard hostage to get what he wants - so he holds a gun to Richard's back until... you guessed it... Michelle talked him out of it.  They're quite the team!

Orange Day  :  With Manny on the run from the law and hiding out in San Cristobel, they bask in their ever-present horniness.  This day will go down in infamy for showing us how exceedingly effective oranges can be used as a foreplay device... if used correctly.

Gap Day/Dream Lesson  :  What most call "dream lesson" day, I immediately named "Gap Day" because when you first look at them, they look like they're straight from a Gap commercial!  Taking place in San Cristobel while on the run, Manny share a casual day of dreams, love and reminiscence.  These scenes include perhaps my "quintessential Manny" moment - at the end during the "And I say, I've been waiting for you." / "I love you."  exchange.

Confirmation Day  :  The wonderful day during Michelle's Welcome Home party at Towers when she found out that "two lines means yes" and we all rejoiced in the confirmation that a "little baby Santos" would be joining us soon.

Bauer BBQ  :  The traditional 4th of July party at the Bauer pad, complete with Bauer burgers!.  Manny was "together" for two of them, but during the first one (1999), Michelle wasn't speaking to Rick (gee, lock your sister up in a mental ward and she won't speak to you... I wonder why!?) as Manny was spending that holiday getting married up at Laurel Falls.  The second year (2000), Manny were fighting incessantly about Claire, and it was no fun!

"Taking advantage of the hallway" / Hallway lip-licking  :  Uhhhhhhh.  I wish words could do this scene justice.  I really do.  But basically, this is the day that Manny arrived back from their 2nd (off screen) honeymoon and we find them playfully running through the hallway just simply being in love.  The lip-licking is something you truly must see for yourself for I turn into a puddle of mush every time I see it and couldn't explain it to you if my life depended on it.

The Breakup  :  Some would say that this was the day Manny ended.  I happen to think it was one of their best days yet.  How, you say?  Somehow, they managed to say all the things that most Manny fans knew they had to say but were afraid to hear them... all the while, PAS and JL delivered amazing performances that broke my heart repeatedly every time I watched this day.  For those not in the know, this was the day that Danny returned home after ordering the hit on Xeno Martin (for supposedly killing Carmen).  While he doesn't tell her exactly what he's done, she figures it out and can't put up with it any more.  She asks him to leave.  Lines to remember:  M - "There are places that you go that I cannot follow."   D - "...Then don't. That's what I'm saying, don't. Let me go there myself, I will always come back to you." and the one that summed up what most of us were feeling:  M - "It feels like death."

Key Day  :  Shortly after their breakup, Danny returns to the Bauer home to ask Michelle to re-consider.  She asks for his keys back but he talks her into giving him a chance to make everything better and he tells her that he's going to be keeping his keys.  A *sigh* worthy day in general.

 huh?

The Santos Salute  :  These are perhaps PAS' most famous Danny-ism.  Simply put, they're his hand gestures, usually using two or three fingers together to point outwardly or gesture wildly to emphasize a point.  They come in many incarnations and are all the rave in Springfield.

Maxi-Pad  :  An affectionate term for the white bandage used on Danny's head after his car accident.

::tfw::  :  Only used in e-mails (so far) and created by Casey, this stands for the "two-fingered wave" that Danny gave Abby at Casa Bauer after he and Michelle had returned home from the Bauer cabin.  A quick moment that most have forgotten about, but perhaps one of Danny's "cuter" moments in memory.

Wet Curls  :  I take full responsibility for keeping this term in the spotlight along with all the abnormal lusty feelings that go along with it.  Created in chat after pool day, Krystal and I couldn't stop gushing first about the wet curls themselves, and then I had to open my big mouth and mention how I get a cheap thrill over "sucking wet curls"... and the rest... well, the rest I'll never live down.

The Stare  :  This is the stare to end all stares from the diner the day of their first kiss.  Before he leaves, Jesse tries to speak to him but all Danny does is turn away from Jesse to stare at Michelle.  Many people actually enjoy this moment more than the actual kiss that occurs moments later.

Lil Mobster  :  This is just my own personal euphemism for Danny's.. um... well, ya know.  I've referred to it in a few RRR's.

ILY's  :   Nothing too interesting here.  Simply stands for all the "I love you's" that we've born witness to.  My favorites?  Well, now that you've asked... My favorite Danny ILY is at the airport just before he leaves for L.A.  My favorite Michelle ILY is at Casa Santos after she's spoken with Ruth Lockhart.  They just make my heart melt.

Zzshzshzhshhzshh  :  There's no one specific way of spelling this term.  Just try and say it and you'll get the "shh" that Danny gives Michelle on two occasions.  I had forgotten this wonderful Danny/PAS-ism until a friend reminded me of them.  However, it's only been used twice - once at the end of the Santos Party before he takes her to Laurel Falls and again outside the Millennium office on Halloween.  It's just adorable.

Bump Hug  :  Ok, I fully recognize that absolutely nobody else uses this term or even recognizes these hugs as being anything different than what they are.  But for some reason, they just give me the grins.  There are only two on record in Manny history.  Basically, they're hugs that occur when PAS' force is so great that he ends up "bumping" into Joie when Danny goes to hug Michelle.  However, I see this more as Danny's passion running into Michelle's strength and turning it into a loving embrace.  *sigh*  The two I speak of?  The first occurred in their bedroom at CS during the Hands on the Neck scenes before he had to take her to her "death".  The second is my favorite by far and takes place in the Bauer kitchen at the end of the "goodbye" scenes when he comes back after promising that she'll be safe.  Go back and watch and you too will fall in love with the sheer power of the bump hug.

 the moments

You Know Why  :  Perhaps the most memorable and infamous words in Manny history.  Fun fact to know and tell - this phrase has actually been spoken three times.  The first was at the diner during an innocent exchange, the second came in Michelle's fantasy before the "goodbye" scenes.  But the third time is what will make them words to remember forever.  Spoken after Danny has drenched Michelle in the shower, she asks him why he's willing to give up his family and his entire life for her.  His response, "you know why",  is understood to have been his own Danny way of saying, "I love you."   *sigh*

Tinkerbells  :  Fondly (or not so fondly) remembered after their LFW, right before the Little C, Danny hands Michelle a rope to pull.  As she pulls, two branches separate, exposing the bed that Danny has put in the middle of the woods (following so far?)  Anyway, as she pulls back, we hear little tinker bells chiming.  Some call this one of the most embarrassing moment in Manny history.  I look right past it... and resonate in the look they share after the ringing ends.

70 seconds  :  Ok, I had heard this term many times and even knew exactly what it stood for - the two tiny scenes during Reva & Josh's wedding when Danny stealthily visits Michelle in her bedroom and share some incredibly luscious kisses.  *Keep an eye out for the one-armed lift*

"Ho Ho Ho"  :  Danny's merry first words to Michelle as he finds her at the Mall, spoken with the hubba hubba bronchitis voice.

"Wet Puppy"  :  This term of endearment is what Danny called Michelle as they were getting out of the wetness on "Shower Day".  Joie has her hand up over her mouth at the time, but she's lucky because I have a feeling if it weren't there, we would've seen her break into a huge grin over this classic PAS ad-lib.

ho-ney-moon  :  In the San Cristobel restaurant on their honeymoon, Danny tries to talk Michelle out of running potentially dangerous errands for Reva.  The line goes a little something like this:  "Hey, we are on our honeymoon. Our ho-ney-moon. How long did it take us to get here? It has been perfect so far and I don't want to ruin it."  Again, not one easily described.. more like one you need to hear.

Reva's Rescue Rangers  :  This troop consisted of Danny, Michelle, Josh, Jim, Matt and Cassie as they all jumped on the Santos yacht and high tailed it to San Cristobel to save Princess Katherine .. er.. Reva.  Also referred to as the Reva Rescue Mission.

i can't get enough of you, baby

Tummy Rub  :  Most remembered from the Family Dinner at the Country Club when Danny reminds Michelle that she has to keep up the "act" for his mother if she wants to stay alive.  It's a highly arousing rub, if you ask the right people.

Cuppage  :  I take full credit for calling this when it happened and posting about it promptly.  The day - on the yacht on the way to San Cristobel to rescue Reva.  While sitting on the edge of the yacht Paul's hand comes dangerously close to a certain young lady's bosom.  I'm not saying any more.  It's up to you to rewind, slow-mo, and pause carefully!  Good luck!

Thumbage  :  Thumbs.  Moving.  Everywhere.  Can't.   Speak.

Secret Spot  :  Ahhh, from In/Out Day when Michelle playfully tells him her big secret... that she has a secret spot and when the right person touches it, she just goes crazy!  Without keeping you in suspense, let's just say... Danny found it.

One armed lift  :  For some reason, this makes hearts go pitter-patter... Danny's patented one-armed lift.  It's occurred three times - on 70 second day, once in their bedroom after they took advantage of the hallway and finally on one of their last happy days up at Laurel Falls before they find the stalker remnants in their Love Shack.

Grey tank top/boxers  :  Without a better category to put these in, they end up here because ironically enough, most people have gotten just about enough of them the few times they've seen them.  I personally had no problem with them but I know many who would be thankful if they never had to see this clothing ensemble again!

i just thought of a place

CC  :  Also known as the Country Club

Casa Santos  :  The term often used (always affectionately) for Carmen's house and where Manny lived the first few months they were together and then later when they got back together.

Cedar's  :  The hospital where Michelle should have been working, but never got around to actually finishing med school, so instead, it's acted as a place they frequent during times of medical emergencies and horrible fights.

LH  :  That's what we here in Manny Land use when talking about the lighthouse where many a memorable scene has taken place.  It was once said, and I fully agree, that as soon as you saw they were going to be in the lighthouse that day, you knew you were in for some good Manny!

SC Villa  :  This is the house that Danny and his family own in San Cristobel (SC) that Manny visited on their honeymoon, used as the home base for the Reva Rescue Mission and then hid in when they were on the run.  It's a beautiful set, and the closest thing we ever got to Manny's own house.

Y2K  :  This is what lazy typers use to refer to Millennium, the local restaurant/club once owned by Drew and later run by Danny.

Love Shack  :  The shack located on the Laurel Falls property that Manny hid in after he broke her out of prison.

LF  :  This stands for Laurel Falls, the property that meant a lot to Michelle... where they renewed their vows and consummated their marriage... and the land that Danny eventually bought up and promised to build their house on.

 allow me to introduce myself

BBS  :  This stands for a couple different things - Baby Bauer Santos, Bouncing Baby Santos.  Basically, it's the baby that we waited for and finally got on the amazing Confirmation Day.

TOW  :  The Other Woman - a phrase used often to represent Theresa, Danny's ex.

Te-re-sa  :  Tracee used this as a way of emphasizing the incorrect way that PAS continued to pronounce Theresa's name.

T-Bag  :  My own personal nickname for Theresa.  A play on ho-bag.

Pink Bandit  :  In the early days when Michelle would wear pink every single day, this is what she was called.  Coined by Twinners.

YKW / Shrew  :  "You know who" and Shrew are names given to speak of Drew back in the day.

Morticia  :  Michelle used this term to refer to Carmen.

Pilargh / Peelar  :  Terms used to refer to Pilar, Danny's sister.

TPTB / TIIC  :  "The Powers That Be"  and  "The Idiots In Charge" are used when speaking of the producers and writers and anyone with any power over the show.

Dietzy  :  Forever missed.  Carmen's right hand man and #1 goon for the Santos crime family.

Jimmy  :  The other thug that worked for Carmen.  He teamed up with Dietz to try and blow the Santos clan to bits because they thought the family was going soft.

TWV  :  "The Walking Vegetable" aka Jesse Blue.  I wasn't around when this phrase was coined, but I'm sure you can figure out why he was given this name.

Dr. Prick  :  A not-so-endearing nickname for Rick, Michelle's brother, when he had her locked up in the mental wing of Cedar's and continuously bad-mouthed Danny.

Stenz  :  Simply put, Stewart + Lenz = Stenz.  Used when referring not so much to Danny and Michelle, but more about the actors that portray them and their unforgettable and irreplaceable magic.

if i could save time in a bottle
